Ben Franklin’s body went numb after one of his electric experiments. But he had to feel the power to come up with some of his most important inventions—a new vocabulary for the rest of the world. Franklin was a wordsmith after all. And we are too. We just don’t realize that the words we use impact define our experiences impact our behaviors.
